Lovebirds was founded by a multi-certified pizza teacher from Italy and a pizza lover in Berlin. The idea: to bring well-known and sometimes outdated recipes to a new level through expertise, creativity, sustainability and passion. In addition to an exquisite selection of products, Lovebirds stands for a modern and stylish ambience.

Our mission: not to be perceived as a typical Italian restaurant, but as a modern fast-casual pizza concept with an international flair. Our high-quality pizzas are prepared daily with love and dedication. Since our hunger for pizza itself will never end, we will always be developing ourselves and the pizza. We work on new ideas, techniques and recipes with great dedication every day.

Our pizzas are the result of a combination of love, passion and baking science.

In Berlin, a place has emerged where tradition and innovation complement each other in a creative way: Master pizzas made from a sourdough with fresh toppings in a unique fast-casual concept in a stylish ambience.

Traditional Neapolitan pizza is brought back to modern times by reinventing authentic recipes with modern techniques and the best quality ingredients. In addition, scrocchiarella, a new type of particularly fluffy yet crispy Romanesque pizza, is offered in different variations and other specialities.

In addition to these products, we also pay special attention to gluten-free pizza! Due to a strict production process, we have the possibility to produce gluten-free pizzas. After thorough cleaning, we produce the gluten-free pizzas separately on one day a week - after baking, the pizzas are frozen and stored in our blast freezer. If ordered, we bake the pizzas on extra trays in a separate oven. Furthermore, our gluten-containing pizza balls are opened exclusively with non-gluten-containing flours to minimise the risk of contamination. 

We combine Italian lightness with the unmistakable Berlin lifestyle to create a place with a special kind of international flair.

nicola

Nicola was born in Berlin and has been a pizza lover for as long as he can remember. He knows Berlin with all its facets and has tried almost every pizza in the city. His conclusion: it's time for a breath of fresh air and an innovative concept that enriches the city's gastronomy. His vision: to combine the flair of Berlin with the art of Italian pizza to create a unique gastronomic experience: Lovebirds - Contemporary Pizza. Nicola is a perfectionist and a man for detail. You'll notice that when you enter the shop at the latest. Come and see his creative ideas for yourself!

gianluca

Gianluca was born in Venice and is a master pizza chef. When you visit Lovebirds, you'll directly feel his Italian hospitality - and Gianluca knows pizza like no other. In 2014, he trained at the Accademia Pizzaioli to become an ISO 9001 Pizza Master Trainer and has since taught countless pizza makers the art of pizza making.

Because Gianluca's pizzas can confidently be described as works of art. He is always on the lookout for new ingredients, trends and inspirations. In the process, he constantly designs new and innovative creations that are second to none. Curious? Come around and try for yourself!
